Christmas in 1960 at the farm outside Wahoo. Grandpa Frank Cernik is in the purple shirt. I had no idea he ever wore a color like that.
My dad is holding me, Donnie on his lap while I suck my thumb. I loved that thing. My aunt Elaine is holding Dale (in a white onesie) on her knee and later my dad is holding Dale while my mom is making faces at him.
My brother Brian is in the red, white and blue striped shirt with suspenders. My great-grandmother, Marie Cernik (Vybiral) is in the blue dress with her hair net.
At the end is my Grandma “Bessie” Cernik (ZIMOLA) in her classic apron. She was an AWESOME cook.
