    3. For female family members that are the “home” person like my mom Marie Smith (CERNIK), she will be listed in her (MAIDEN NAME) Tree page which will link to the tree in her married name Tree page.

Site conventions:

  1. Female family members will be listed on the pages of their “Birth Name”. If they are/were married, there will be additional information on the pages of her “Married Name”.
  2. Whenever a female family member is/was married, she will be listed as FirstName MiddleName MarriedName (MAIDENNAME). i.e., my mom is Marie Magdalene Carol Smith (CERNIK). Thus the Maiden Name in all CAPS.
  3. Any nicknames will be show in double quotes. i.e., Bozena “Bessie” Cernik (ZIMOLA).
  4. Another way to navigate the site and/or locate people or content
    1.  At the far left of the Menu Bar, there is a search button
    2. This will bring up a Search Bar
    3. Type in anything you want to search on (Family name, Terms, etc.) and hit <Enter> or click on the “Magnifying Glass” to the right.
    4. This will return a list of relevant pages.
  5. A last way to navigate the site is the use of Categories. On the right had side of every page you will see a list of Categories. Family names, Documents, Photos, Places, etc. You can click on any of those Categories and it will bring up a list of pages that have been tagged with that Category.
  6. At any time you can click on the Site Icon at the right of the menu bar or the Home Icon in the middle of the page photo on every page and it will take you to the home page.
  7. Most if not all photos and any text that is in Light Brown and has the hand icon when you “hover” over it, can be clicked on and will lead you to more content or an enlarged photo.
  8. At the bottom of the home page is a Facebook Icon that will lead you to the Frank and Bessie Facebook page. It is a “by invitation only” Facebook Group.
